31 Confidence and Leadership Pt4

Welcome to this week’s message on leadership, self-confidence, and how to feel good about yourself everyday as you interact with people, in safety and comfort, at home and work.

Last week’s message was an Item of Special Interest based on questions asked about promoting the most appropriate employee.
If you wish to be reminded of that message, it is also available back on the message page.

This week’s message is about the Cycle for Confidence and Leadership and how it impacts your life. It is the step that allows you to see that self-confidence, developed here, provides leadership skills that entitles, and allows, you to feel good about yourself every day.

Look the Cycle over and you begin to see how it works.
Your spiritual dimension – that separates you from everyone else on the planet – gives you your individuality, your uniqueness; and yet, as a human being, it also gives you those traits that are shared by all other people.

Cycle for Confidence and Leadership

Today is an opportunity to understand Stage 4.

A positive self-image generates instinctive achievements.
I’m sure it comes as no surprise to be told that when you feel good about life and yourself, it is a lot easier to learn new things. You simply achieve more.

If you were to use a sporting situation, you would see that sportspeople often talk up their chance for success in any upcoming event. They use a technique of positive reinforcement to ensure they believe they will win.

Nobody ever wins anything in sport who believes they can’t win. They must believe they can win first. And it is when you feel good about yourself, and have a positive self-image, then the achievements seem to become easier.

You may not remember when you were studying at school or in a new job, but if you can think back to when you had to learn something new, it is always when you feel good that learning is most easy.

Particularly if you got positive reinforcement from a loved, or respected, person in your life.

The lesson there of course is if you have felt good about yourself because of the comments of others, and it has helped you to be successful in any field, then you have learnt how to treat and inspire others who you know you can help to achieve.

Next week’s message is an explanation of the first Critical Step to self-confidence and leadership. ‘The Recognition and Embracing of Your Own Uniqueness.’
It is a message that reinforces your value, and entitlement, to ongoing, continuous happiness. It will be followed over coming weeks by each of the other Four Critical Steps.

Until then, please continue to see yourself as a unique and remarkable person. You deserve to feel good about yourself every day.

Tony Richards.
